Large-scale Moscow's Strikes Disrupt Electricity Throughout Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in the region
Ukraine's power facilities have come under escalating strikes in recent weeks

Throughout the evening, Russian missile and drone strikes have led to power cuts in extensive areas of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were injured while inhabitants in the city's east were plunged into darkness and faced interruptions to water systems, as stated by city officials.

At the same time, a minor was killed in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.

Russian forces has intensified strikes on electrical systems over recent weeks, while officials has requested "concrete actions" from allies to increase pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not symbolic gestures but decisive action - from the US, the EU and the Group of Seven - in providing air defence systems and applying restrictions," mentioned in a public message.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles targeted the country's power systems, characterizing such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were laboring to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles damaged electrical systems and civilian homes in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the assaults on the capital have been transported for medical care, per statements from municipal representatives.

Authorities told the media that Moscow was deliberately attempting to demolish the country's energy grid, with strikes already affecting fuel infrastructure.
